This is an aftermarket accessory, not an aircraft model. The pre-colored multi-layer photo-etched instrument panel comes painted from the factory and ready for immediate installation - it replaces the plastic part from your kit and renders the instruments, their dials and their labels faithfully. There is no need for laborious painting or dry transfers on the dials. The set is meant for models of the P-47D Thunderbolt fighter in its early form in 1:48 scale.
The Republic P-47 Thunderbolt was among the heaviest and sturdiest American fighters of the Second World War. It was powered by a powerful turbo-supercharged radial engine and it became famous for its toughness as well as for the firepower of eight machine guns. The early P-47D versions had the so-called razorback - a smooth transition of the fuselage behind the cockpit; the aircraft proved itself as a fighter as well as an attack aircraft over Europe and in the Pacific.
Check whether the shape of the panel matches your particular kit - the dimensions may differ slightly between kits from different manufacturers and the edges sometimes have to be sanded down gently. Clean up the original plastic panel, glue the part with a small amount of cyanoacrylate and apply clear varnish carefully.
