A set of self-adhesive painting masks from the Czech maker Omask in 1:48 scale for P-47D Thunderbolt models. The double-sided version means masks for the outside and the inside of the glazing, so the cockpit frames can be painted from outside and inside and the interior looks realistic. It is not a model but an accessory that takes the place of masking by hand with tape. The masks are cut for the P-47D kit from MiniArt.

Use

• Apply the inner masks before the cockpit is closed and the outer ones once it is assembled.
• Spray the exposed frames first in the interior color, then in the exterior one.
• The masks seat exactly in the frames and give sharp color transitions.
• Once the paint is dry, lift the masks carefully.
