This is an accessory set of engine exhaust nozzles, not a model of an aircraft. The set from the maker Reskit holds resin, in some cases 3D printed, nozzles for the light JF-17 Thunder fighter in the Pakistani version, in 1:48 scale. It replaces the simplified plastic part and brings fine inner as well as outer definition of the exhaust section of the engine.
The JF-17 Thunder is a single-engine light multirole fighter developed in cooperation between Pakistan and China. It serves above all with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) as a modern combat aircraft with low acquisition and operating demands. The characteristic exhaust nozzle of the engine is a prominent detail on a model.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts and cut them from the casting blocks, then glue them with super glue. Paint the inside of the nozzle in metallic and heat-discolored shades and bring the petals out with a dark wash and dry brushing.
An accessory set. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
