A stylized egg model of the King Tiger (Porsche turret) from Meng in the World War Toons line - a cute caricature for fun and an easy build.
Responsibility details are not available.
This kit from Meng in the World War Toons line represents the German King Tiger heavy tank with the Porsche turret in a humorous, cartoon egg styling. The model deliberately keeps to no scale: it has a large main section and a shortened, chubby body, so that it comes across as cute and playful. Thanks to the low parts count and snap-fit joints, the build is easy and quick and needs no glue.
The real King Tiger was among the heaviest German tanks of the Second World War, famous for its thick armor and powerful gun. The variant with the Porsche turret was marked by the characteristic rounded front of the turret. The egg model takes only the typical features from the real machine and reworks them into a likeable shorthand.
The parts simply click out of the sprue and fit together; firmer joints can be secured with a drop of glue. The model can be built without painting as well, though painting brings it to life. The rotating turret and the movable gun barrel add to the fun.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints are not included in the package; thanks to the snap-fit joints, glue is not essential.
