Raný americký znak měl uprostřed bílé hvězdy červený kruh. V Pacifiku se ale pletl s japonským rudým kruhem (hinomaru), a tak byl červený střed v roce 1942 zrušen. Tato sada je proto pro rané stroje do roku 1942.

Raný typ (do roku 1942) s červeným středem hvězdy. Pro pozdější stroje od poloviny roku 1943 zvolte sadu „Stars & Bars" s bočními pruhy.

Ne, jsou to samolepicí masky pro nastříkání znaků na model Catalina 1:48. Stavebnici ani barvy sada neobsahuje.
