This is an aftermarket detail accessory, not a complete model. The package contains three clear 3D-printed Revi 16 reflector gunsights of the kind fitted in the cockpits of the German Fw 190 D fighters. The transparent print faithfully imitates the glass of the sight and the fine body of the instrument, which brings the pilot's cockpit to life.
The Revi 16 was a German reflector gunsight that projected an aiming pattern onto a glass reflector plate in front of the pilot. It was used on a range of Luftwaffe fighters including the late versions of the Fw 190 and made accurate shooting easier without the pilot looking away.
Separate the clear parts from the supports carefully and avoid scratching the optical surface. Paint the body of the sight a dark metallic shade and leave the glass clear, or tint it very lightly. Bond with thin super glue, which will not fog the clear surfaces.
This is an accessory for building a model; the model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
