The Sukhoi Su-25, NATO reporting name Frogfoot, is a Soviet subsonic attack aircraft for close support of ground forces, in service since the 1980s. It has an armored cockpit, a rugged airframe and landing gear adapted to operation from field and unpaved airstrips, and heavy gun and underwing armament. The tough landing gear with its bulky wheels matches that purpose.
First wash the resin parts in warm soapy water to remove any mold release residue. Separate the wheels from the casting blocks with a sharp knife, level the cuts with abrasive paper and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) - plastic cement does not hold on resin. The hub and the tire are easier to paint before final assembly; masking and a matte varnish help.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. It is not a model of the aircraft; glue and paints are not included in the package. When sanding resin, protect your airways.
