The set is meant to complete models of the F-4 Phantom II (the C and D versions) in 1:48 scale. It is not an aircraft model but a separate piece of armament. The manufacturer is the Ukrainian firm Reskit.
The SUU-16A is an American podded gun with a 20 mm rotary cannon. It was used on Phantoms that lacked a built-in gun and so added to their firepower in a dogfight. The form with the bay closed shows the pod with the ram air turbine stowed.
Wash the part free of uncured print resin residue, cut the print supports off and sand it with your airways protected. Glue resin with cyanoacrylate glue, spray a base and the shades according to the scheme, and metal surfaces can be fine-tuned with a metallic paint.
The set contains resin parts only; paints, glue and the host model are not included in the package.
