An add-on set for a model of the T-38A trainer in 1:48 scale. An item from the brand Reskit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The T-38A Talon is an American supersonic trainer with a crew of two seated in tandem. You will know it by its slender fuselage with a sharp nose, its small low-set wings and the pair of engines side by side in the rear fuselage. The T-38A is the basic training form that whole generations of jet pilots passed through, and it has stayed in service remarkably long. For modelers it is rewarding too, because these machines wore colorful training schemes with bold warning stripes.
It is an accessory for a model of the T-38A aircraft in 1:48 scale, that is parts to be fitted onto a kit under construction. It is an item from the brand Reskit. The exact contents of the box and where the parts belong on the model are given by the manufacturer's instructions. Before building, therefore, compare the instructions with the kit you have, so that the set fits your version of the aircraft.
The parts are not polystyrene, so ordinary liquid cement for plastic will not join them. Use cyanoacrylate glue and sand the mating faces beforehand so that they meet without a gap. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little clear of the part and sand the rest off carefully. Before painting, wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap and let them dry, or the primer will take badly. The exact preparation is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
For modelers who build the T-38A in 1:48 scale and want to round the model out with parts from this range. Paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
