Flyhawk Kriegsmarine ship's boats and lifeboats 1:700 is a detail set of small craft for building up and dressing models of Kriegsmarine warships.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set is NOT a ship model but a detail accessory in 1:700 scale. It holds a set of small craft - service boats, motor launches and lifeboats - carried by the warships of the Kriegsmarine in the Second World War. The accurately rendered parts replace the coarser boats from the base kits and liven up the decks of large ships.
The large units of the Kriegsmarine carried a range of boat types, from captains' and admirals' barges to lifeboats and rafts. Rendering them faithfully is one of those details that lift the impression a small-scale model makes.
Separate the small parts from the sprue gates carefully, clean them up and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Bring out the insides of the boats with a dark wash and the edges with drybrushing; check the fit on the deck cradles dry before gluing.
This is an accessory, not a complete ship model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
