Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero Fighter Type 21 (1:72, Hasegawa) is a plastic kit of the Japanese carrier fighter of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Japanese Mitsubishi A6M2b Zero carrier fighter, Type 21, in 1:72 scale from the Japanese maker Hasegawa. The model offers a finely engraved surface, a well-worked cockpit and clear parts for the canopy. In the package you will find plastic sprues, a clear sprue and a decal sheet.
The A6M Zero was the best-known fighter of the Imperial Japanese Navy Air Service. The Type 21 with folding wingtips was adapted for operation from aircraft carriers and became famous for its exceptional range and agility. It was precisely this type that formed the core of the Japanese naval fighter force in the first half of the war in the Pacific, including the attack on Pearl Harbor and the fighting in 1942.
Paint and assemble the cockpit before closing up the fuselage. It is a good idea to mask the canopy and spray the framing. A light gray-green shade suits the early machines, and a dark green upper finish the later ones. Apply the decals onto a gloss varnish; a fine wash of the panel lines will complete the weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
