The AMX light attack and reconnaissance aircraft came out of a joint program of the Italian and Brazilian aircraft industries. The subsonic machine with a high-set wing was designed for strikes against ground targets and for reconnaissance, and it carries its armament on pylons under the wing and under the fuselage. The two-seat AMX-T version has a lengthened fuselage with two seats in tandem and is used for training without losing its combat capability.
This is an accessory for aircraft models in 1:72 scale meant for building a model of the AMX or the AMX-T. Which part of the aircraft it adds to and how many parts it consists of are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
In 1:72 scale the parts are tiny, so work over a mat with a light surface and nothing will disappear on you. Cut the excess material off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down. Wash the parts in lukewarm soapy water before painting and let them dry. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue applied drop by drop, ideally with the tip of a toothpick, so that the glue does not run over the edges.
The set is for modelers who build the AMX in the small scale and want to see more on the model than just the shapes from the box. Anyone who prefers larger parts will reach for the same set in 1:48 scale.
The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
