Eduard 1:72 Bf-109 K-4 undercarriage legs (3D printed)

A detail aftermarket set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard, which replaces the plastic main undercarriage legs of a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4 fighter in 1:72 scale. The parts are made by direct 3D printing, so they carry the fine structure of the lightening holes, the hydraulic lines and details that injection-molded plastic cannot reach in this scale. The set is intended as an upgrade to a specific kit and does not make a model on its own.

Use and building

Carefully separate the parts from the print supports, clean them up and wash them free of any residue before gluing. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), not with ordinary cement for plastic. We recommend a primer before painting; protect your airways when sanding. Thin 3D-printed parts are strong but fragile under rough handling.
