A combined package of resin accessories for the Bf 109 K-4 fighter in 1:72 scale. Several separate sets together, intended for the Eduard kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
The K-4 version closed the long development line of the Messerschmitt and reached combat only at the end of 1944. It was powered by a supercharged engine with water-mixture injection, a 30 mm cannon passed through the hollow propeller shaft and the cockpit was covered by a lightened canopy with a large glazed area. A tall fin arrangement and a retractable tail wheel were added above, so the silhouette differs from the earlier Gustavs even when seen from the side. It was flown only briefly, in conditions of a shortage of fuel as well as experienced pilots, and yet it is among the most sought-after subjects of the whole conflict.
This item is not a single set but a bundle of several cast accessories for one type of kit, put together so that they do not overlap. In one step the modeler covers the places that molded plastic cannot reach in a small scale and does not have to assemble the purchase from individual boxes.
The plastic kit is not included; the package assumes it as the basis. Given its extent, this is equipment for a modeler who wants a finished piece to hand as the highlight of a collection and is in no hurry over it.
