A set of color 3D interior elements for a model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 in 1:72 scale, prepared for the Fine Molds kit. Check the method of application in the enclosed instructions.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-10 is one of the last production versions of the most widespread German fighter of the Second World War. It appeared at the end of the war and, compared with the earlier machines, received a smoother engine cowling, under which a Daimler-Benz DB 605 inverted V12 worked. The cockpit of the Bf 109 is narrow and tight, but the hinged canopy opens the view into it, so the interior is clearly visible on a finished model and it pays to finish it off.
The set brings color 3D interior elements in 1:72 scale, shaped for the parts of the Fine Molds kit. The elements carry their color and modeled relief already printed, so the small areas inside the cockpit do not have to be painted with a brush. The enclosed instructions show where the individual parts go.
The surface must be smooth, degreased and with the paint on it fully dry. The method of application differs between lines, so check it beforehand in the manufacturer's instructions enclosed. Lift the individual parts with the tip of a scalpel, transfer them with tweezers and press them down with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges. Sand away any raised detail on the kit part under an element beforehand, so that it seats flat and does not lift into a bubble.
The set suits a modeler building the Bf 109 G-10 from Fine Molds who wants a legible cockpit without laborious painting. The package contains the interior elements; the kit, paints, glue and tools are not included, unless stated otherwise.
