Reskit 1:72 BRU-55 smart bomb racks for the F/A-18 (2 pcs) is an aftermarket set for refining the armament of a model, not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
This add-on set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit contains a pair of faithfully rendered BRU-55 smart racks in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory intended to improve the armament of a finished model. The parts capture even the small features of the rack that plastic kits simplify.
The BRU-55 is a twin rack that allows two precision-guided bombs to be hung on a single pylon. The set is intended for F/A-18 models and adds a realistic configuration for carrying precision munitions.
First wash the parts free of any mold release agent residue, separate them carefully from the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding. A coat of primer before painting is advisable.
The add-on set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model itself, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
