An injection-molded plastic kit of the FC-1 jet aircraft in 1:72 scale from Trumpeter, rendered as the prototypes designated 01 and 03. The model has engraved panel lines and rivets, a detailed cockpit with an ejection seat, a well-worked landing gear with its bays and an addition of photo-etched parts; the box contains decals for both prototype schemes shown.
The FC-1 is a light single-engine multirole combat aircraft developed jointly by China and Pakistan, known in the Pakistan Air Force as the JF-17 Thunder. Prototypes 01 and 03 represent early development machines on which the aerodynamics and the systems of the aircraft were tested. The design emphasizes low cost and multirole use.
We recommend liquid cement for plastic and careful fitting of the fuselage halves and the intakes. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). For the light test finishes of the prototypes an airbrush and a base primer work well; a gloss clear coat under the decals will prevent silvering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
