A resin detail wheel set from Reskit in 1:72 scale. This is not an aircraft model but a standalone accessory that replaces the landing gear wheels on a plastic Mirage 2000 kit. The casting faithfully captures the profile of the tires as well as the detail of the rims.
The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French single-engine multi-role fighter with a delta wing that first flew at the end of the 1970s. It served and still serves with the French Air Force and with a number of foreign operators in fighter, strike and reconnaissance versions.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Realistically sagging tires stand out once the tread is accentuated and lightly dusted with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
