New Ware 1:72 Douglas A-4M/KU Skyhawk BASIC kabuki masks are precisely cut masking templates made from kabuki tape for models of the late version of the A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft in 1:72 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks made from kabuki tape for plastic models of the late Douglas A-4M attack aircraft and the export A-4KU Skyhawk in 1:72 scale. The BASIC version contains masks for the glazed parts and other clear parts, wheel masks and basic details for the camouflage. It is not a kit but an aid to spraying the canopy frames and the wheels cleanly.
The A-4M Skyhawk II was the highest-performing version of the Skyhawk for the US Marine Corps, with a more powerful engine and a raised spine with a reworked canopy. The A-4KU version served abroad. The different canopy shape of these versions calls for masks cut specifically for them.
Degrease the glazing, transfer the masks with tweezers and press them down along the frames. Apply the paint in thin coats and remove the masks while the finish is still flexible. Wheels with separate hubs can easily be split into tire and rim.
This is a mask set, not a model. The paints, the glue and the kit are not included in the package.
