Responsibility details are not available.
A model of the American McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom II fighter-bomber in the late version, with the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing at Clark Air Base in the Philippines as its subject, in 1:72 scale from the Japanese manufacturer Fine Molds. The package adds newly shaped parts (a wing with leading edge slats and the TISEO sensor) and decals for four schemes.
The F-4 Phantom II was one of the most significant jet combat aircraft of the Cold War. The F-4E version added an internal 20 mm M61 Vulcan cannon in a lengthened nose; late machines received leading edge slats on the wing for better maneuverability. The aircraft of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing operated from Clark Air Base in the Philippines.
We suggest building the model in subassemblies and dry-fitting the parts before gluing. Paint the cockpit and the interior and pick them out with a wash if you wish, before the fuselage is closed. For the best result use a good thin plastic cement, fine files and, after a primer coat, an airbrush. Apply the decals over gloss clear and fix them with a matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
