A resin set of replacement wheels from Reskit for models of the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and the Ta-152 in their late form, 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithfully made parts. The Type 2 designation distinguishes one particular version of the hub and the tire tread on the late machines; the Type 1 variant is made separately.
The Focke-Wulf Fw-190 was among the most important German fighters of the Second World War and went through a series of modifications in its late phase. The high-flying Ta-152 that followed on from it was intended for combat at high altitude.
Separate the parts carefully from the casting blocks, wash them free of the remains of the mold release agent and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tire and the hub separately, which makes masking easier. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
