1:72 German tank barrel 8,8cm KwK 36 L/56 for (Late model) Tiger I is a turned metal barrel for a model of the late Tiger I.
Responsibility details are not available.
A turned metal barrel of the German eight-point-eight-centimeter tank gun with a barrel length of fifty-six calibers, for a model of the Tiger I in its late form, in 1:72 scale. It is not a model but a replacement part. The Tiger I carried the KwK 36 gun, a different and shorter weapon than the later Tiger II, so mixing the barrels between the types shows at first glance.
Drill the opening in the turret to the diameter of the shank, so that the barrel seats square. In 1:72 the part is very small, so work with tweezers over a light surface. It is glued with super glue. Degrease the part before painting and lay down a primer. Fit the barrel at the end of the build and check it from the front and from above once it is glued.
A metal barrel also stands up to ordinary handling of the model, whereas a plastic one at this scale snaps off the first time it catches on something.
The set contains the metal barrel only. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
