Yahu Models 1:72 Polikarpov I-16 instrument panel (late version) is a finished, pre-painted etched instrument panel. It is an accessory for I-16 fighter models in 1:72 scale, not an aircraft kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This color etched instrument panel from Yahu Models replaces the simple plastic or decal instrument panel in the pilot's cockpit. The panel is built from several laminated etched layers with a backing, so the dials and instruments look three-dimensional and sharp. It arrives already fully painted and ready for installation — no painting or decals are needed. It is made for models of the Soviet fighter I-16 in the late version, in 1:72 scale.
The Polikarpov I-16 was a Soviet monoplane from the 1930s, one of the first series-produced fighters with retractable landing gear. Late versions (such as types 24 and 29) had a more powerful engine and revised armament. The aircraft became famous in the Spanish Civil War, at Khalkhin Gol, and in the opening battles of the Eastern Front.
Carefully separate the parts from the fret and glue them into a sandwich following the instructions. Use cyanoacrylate (super glue) or a glue made for photo-etch; sanding the mating surface smooth makes fitting easier. Since cockpits vary slightly between manufacturers, expect to make small adjustments to the shape. Protect the painted surface from sanding and fingerprints.
This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft model. The aircraft itself, glue and other parts are not included in the package.
