This is not an aircraft kit but a detail accessory. The set contains cast resin wheels for models of the German Junkers Ju-88 bomber in 1:72 scale. It is the type 2 variant — an alternative to type 1, which the manufacturer offers separately. The Ju-88 appeared during its service with several designs of wheels and tires, which is why there are two separate sets; choose the one that matches your machine.
The resin wheels faithfully capture the tire tread and the structure of the hubs and are crisper than the production plastic parts. The landing gear is one of the clearly visible areas on a Ju-88 model, so better wheels noticeably improve the final impression.
Wash the parts in soapy water before gluing, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Over the primer, separate the shades of the tires and the hubs and pick out the moldings with a fine wash.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
