A set of colored self-adhesive 3D decals in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Kelik intended for detailing the cockpit of a model of the German dive bomber Junkers Ju 87D-3 Stuka. The raised instrument panels, panels and other elements are printed on a flexible film and are applied like a decal. It is not a photo-etched set or resin, which is a great advantage at a small scale. The decals are shaped to the parts of the Special Hobby kit, with which the set is assembled.
The Junkers Ju 87 Stuka was the typical German dive bomber of the Second World War, with an inverted gull wing and fixed landing gear. The D-3 version was intended above all for direct support of ground forces and for attacks on ground targets. The two-seat cockpit had room for the pilot and the rear gunner.
First remove the molded details from the plastic parts of the cockpit, so that the surfaces are smooth. Transfer the tiny 3D decals with tweezers and press them down, and secure them if necessary with a drop of decal glue or of thin white glue. In 1:72 scale it pays to work with a magnifier and in good lighting.
This is an accessory for the interior, not a model of the aircraft. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
