Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector model of the third-generation Skoda Octavia in the Combi body version, done in the color scheme of the Prague taxi company AAA Taxi. The model is supplied by the Abrex brand and is both assembled and painted. It is not a kit; nothing is glued or sprayed.
The third generation of the Skoda Octavia was presented in 2012 and the wagon version went on sale in 2013. The car was built on the group platform with a transverse engine and front-wheel drive, it offered an exceptionally roomy luggage compartment for its class and, combined with economical engines, it became one of the most widely used cars of Czech production. It was precisely the roominess and the running costs that made it a usual choice for taxi companies and corporate fleets, so a version in the colors of an operator is a natural subject for collectors of civilian vehicles.
Collector models in 1:43 scale are meant to be displayed, not played with. The painted surfaces and the fine external fittings will take only careful handling. Pick the model up by its base or by the roof and avoid touching the body, as fingerprints are hard to remove from glossy paint. Wipe dust off with a soft brush, not with a cloth, which dulls the paint with small scratches. Keep the model out of direct sunlight, as prolonged light can fade both the colors and the printing.
It is a finished collector model, not a kit. The model does not need gluing or painting and it is not intended as a toy.
