This kit presents the American heavy tactical truck M1120 HEMTT with the Load Handling System in 1:72 scale. It is an injection-molded plastic model from Trumpeter. The box contains parts for building the chassis, the cab and the loading equipment, and decals for several marking options.
The HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) is an eight-wheel drive tactical truck of the American army built by Oshkosh. Instead of a conventional cargo bed, the M1120 version carries the LHS, which allows containers and pallet modules to be loaded and unloaded without a crane. The vehicle is the backbone of supply for modern units.
We recommend finishing the chassis before closing up the cab and the frame. Use liquid modeling cement on the plastic. The vehicle comes out well in a desert or NATO three-color camouflage applied with an airbrush; mud and dust effects are created with washes and pigments at the end of the build.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
