The 3D-printed resin set F-4 Phantom II air intakes in 1:72 scale from Reskit — a detailed replacement for the intakes. It is not an aircraft model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed 3D-printed resin set of air intakes (the engine intakes) for a model of the F-4 Phantom II fighter in 1:72 scale from Reskit. The set replaces the simplified intake ducts from the base plastic kit with faithfully shaped 3D-printed parts. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory for experienced modelers.
Direct 3D printing makes it possible to create deeper and more accurately shaped intake ducts with the correct cross section, which in a small scale markedly improves the look of the aircraft's nose. You no longer see through the intakes into an empty fuselage. The set is designed for the Hasegawa plastic Phantom kit — check compatibility against the packaging.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, separate them carefully from the print supports and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. It is best to paint the inside of the intakes before the fuselage is closed up.
This is an add-on 3D-printed set, not an aircraft model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
