This is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory from the Czech manufacturer CMK. The set in 1:72 scale brings a resin inverted V12 engine that makes it possible to build a Bf 109E model with an opened-up engine bay.
A finely cast engine replaces the empty or simplified space under the cowling. Once the covers are removed or opened, the engine block with its accessories comes into view and raises the realism of the display.
Before building, check how much material has to be removed from the plastic parts of the cowling. Wash the mold release agent off the resin, separate it from the casting blocks and glue it with cyanoacrylate glue. The engine comes out well with color highlighting and a light wash into the recesses.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. Paints, glue and the base kit are not included in the package.
