Reskit wheels for the MiG-25 1:72 is a resin set of landing gear wheels for models of the Soviet MiG-25 Foxbat fighter. It is an accessory, not a model in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin wheel set from the Ukrainian manufacturer Reskit is an aftermarket accessory for models of the fast Soviet MiG-25 Foxbat fighter in 1:72 scale. It is not an aircraft kit, but a replacement for the plastic wheels. The castings have a faithful tire tread and a fine flattening of the tire where it touches the ground, which imitates the load of a parked aircraft.
The MiG-25 Foxbat was a Soviet high-speed interceptor and reconnaissance aircraft, able to fly well above three times the speed of sound. Its rugged landing gear carried a heavy steel airframe. The set matches the main and nose landing gear wheels.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Paint the tire and the hub separately for a sharp transition.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The aircraft model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
