This is a printed scenic base from the Hungarian manufacturer Red Fox Studio in 1:72 scale, measuring 250 x 160 mm. The base faithfully imitates the surface of a modern NATO airfield apron with concrete panels, joints and matching wear. The Type 3 variant differs from the other types of the series in the pattern and division of the surface.
The base serves as a realistic ground for displaying and photographing models of aircraft and equipment, or for building a smaller diorama. On its own it is neither a model nor a kit.
The material resists UV light as well as paints and is easy to cut to the shape you need. The effect can be brought out further with a light dusting of pigments or with dry-brushed paint; it pays to tidy up or frame the edges.
This is a scenic accessory, not a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
