These color 3D decals for the interior of the two-seat cockpit are applied as wet decals and have a fine raised relief with full color printing. They replace painting the instrument panels and side consoles of both seats and are a fast alternative to photo-etched parts. The set is dimensionally prepared for the injection-molded kits of the OA-4M version from Fujimi and Hobby 2000 in 1:72 scale.
The OA-4M is a two-seat version of the Skyhawk adapted for the role of forward air controller with the United States Marine Corps. It derives from the two-seat trainer, supplemented with equipment for directing fire support. The longer forward part of the fuselage with the tandem arrangement of the cockpit sets it apart from the single-seat attack versions.
The decals are cut out, dipped in water and transferred onto a smooth, degreased surface; press them down into the details with a soft cotton swab. Check the use of a decal softener in the manufacturer's instructions beforehand. In 1:72 scale a sharp scalpel and tweezers come in handy. Finish both cockpits before closing up the fuselage.
This is not an aircraft model but an add-on set of decals. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
