Figures of Persian light cavalry in 1:72 scale for building historical armies and battle settings.
Responsibility details are not available.
Light cavalry belonged to the fast part of an army in historical forces. It was not built for a frontal charge but for reconnaissance, for fighting on the move and for pursuing a retreating enemy. The riders wore only light protection, so that the horse could carry a higher pace and a longer march. The Persian theme also offers more varied coloring of the dress than a modeler is used to in the later uniformed armies.
The package brings figures of Persian light cavalry in 1:72 scale. It is a small scale in which whole units and battle settings are built: an adult human figure stands roughly two and a half centimeters tall in it. With mounted sets the rider is usually joined to the horse only during building, so count on work on the seating surfaces of the saddle.
Wash the figures before painting in lukewarm water with a drop of detergent and let them dry; try the adhesion of the base coat on one piece first. In this scale painting small things blind does not lead anywhere. A colored base coat, a darker tone drawn into the folds and a lighter pass over the raised places help faster. Paint the rider before you seat him in the saddle, otherwise you will not reach the thighs and the back of the horse with a brush. The joint holds more firmly if you scrape the paint off the seating surfaces beforehand.
For modelers and players of historical battles who build armies in a small scale and want to add a mounted component to their infantry. Paints, glue and bases are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
