Before painting, rinse it in soapy water so that no mold release agent is left on it and the paint does not peel anywhere. For gluing, reach for cyanoacrylate or epoxy; cement for polystyrene does not dissolve resin and therefore will not bond it. If anything needs cleaning up, sand wet only — inhaled resin dust is harmful to health.
