A combined set of the LööKplus line from Eduard for a model of the Spitfire Mk.Vb fighter in 1:72 scale. It brings together the LööK cockpit part (a color steel instrument panel and pre-printed seat belts) with resin fishtail exhaust stubs, that is exhausts whose outlet is flattened and splayed to the sides. This version differs from the variant with round exhausts. It is not an airplane kit but a detail accessory.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb was one of the most widespread variants of this British fighter. It was powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine and carried the B type wing with two cannon and four machine guns. Fishtail exhausts were among the forms of exhaust stubs used at the time.
The color photo-etched parts are self-adhesive; degrease the surfaces before applying them. Wash the resin exhausts, cut the casting blocks off and glue them with cyanoacrylate. Bring the outlets of the exhausts out with dark shades and pigments for a faithful sooty look.
This is a detail accessory for the matching kit in 1:72 scale; the airplane model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
