This is a resin detail set from the manufacturer CMK, not a model of a submarine. The set is the second part of the exterior accessories and brings refining exterior elements of the hull and the conning tower, details that a base model often handles only in a simplified way.
The exterior of an ocean-going Type IX submarine was full of functional details, from the drainage openings in the superstructure through the equipment of the conning tower to small deck elements. It is exactly those details that decide the final impression of a finished model.
Separate the parts from the casting blocks, wash and degrease them. They are bonded with cyanoacrylate (super) glue. The exterior of a submarine comes to life with darker naval gray shades, fine washes in the recesses and a suggestion of corrosion below the waterline.
This is an aftermarket resin accessory, not a model of a submarine. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
