About product

U.S. Letters and Numbers White 1:72 (Techmod)

This sheet of waterslide decals from the manufacturer Techmod brings a complete alphabet and numerals in white for American aircraft. The characters are printed in six heights matching the inch dimensions 6, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 inches. White markings suit dark camouflage, where black characters would be lost.

What the sheet contains

White letters and numerals in six heights on one sheet. From them you can compose any fuselage codes, serial numbers and tactical markings. The decals have opaque white color, accurate registration and a thin carrier film.

Use

  • Cut the characters out close to the motif and dip them in lukewarm water briefly.
  • Apply them onto a gloss varnish, so that no silvering occurs under the film.
  • A softener will help them settle; go over them with a final varnish at the end.

Who the set is for

  • Builders composing white fuselage codes on dark camouflage.
  • Modelers whose base kit lacks a particular size of white characters.
  • Anyone interested in historically accurate markings in 1:72.

This is a stand-alone sheet of decals, not a kit. Paints, varnish and glue are not included.
