A set of six 17 ml bottles put together for painting German armored equipment from the closing stages of the Second World War, that is 1945 schemes. First, the essential point on the chemistry: the Real Colors range, to which this set belongs, is not a water-thinned acrylic paint. It is a lacquer-type paint — it is thinned with the thinner from the same range, dries quickly, and once cured gives a thin, hard, easily sandable coat that stands up to masking tape and subsequent polishing. Anyone who tries thinning it with water will end up with curdled, unusable paint.
For armor modelers building vehicles in late-war camouflage schemes, and for anyone who wants shades for one theme gathered together instead of assembling them from individual bottles. The set works in all common equipment scales.
A solvent-based paint: work in a ventilated room, use a respirator and eye protection when spraying. Flammable — keep out of reach of children and away from open flame. Shake the bottles thoroughly before use.
