Vallejo Mecha Color Satin Varnish

The satin (semi-matte) protective varnish from the Mecha Color range is a water-thinnable acrylic (acrylic-polyurethane) product for protecting painted surfaces. It is not a covering paint but a clear finish that gives the surface a gentle semi-gloss between matte and gloss. It comes in a 17 ml bottle with a dropper, it is water-based, non-toxic and odorless. A satin surface looks natural and durable and suits places where matte would look too dry and a high gloss unrealistic.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use.
• It is applied with an airbrush or a brush in thin coats over perfectly dry paint.
• Suitable as a final coat for unifying the sheen into a natural satin look.
• It is thinned and the tools are cleaned with water; it dries quickly.
