A water-thinnable modeling acrylic paint, a black shade intended for spraying with an airbrush.
Responsibility details are not available.
Nobody gets by in a modeling workshop without black. On large areas it is rarely used on its own, because at a small scale it reads as a hole with no shape, but as a component of a mixture it is irreplaceable: it takes the saturation out of any tone, pushes it into shadow and, very heavily thinned, pulls every engraved line and rivet out of the surface. It comes into its own on tires, on exhaust systems, on instrument panels and when shading a base coat before the covering layer is sprayed on. It also proves itself as a thin line where two parts meet and the shadow should be deepest.
This is a modeling acrylic thinned with water. The manufacturer prepared it for application with an airbrush and does not recommend it for brushwork, so the surest route is an airbrush and several thin coats laid gradually one over another.
Stir the contents thoroughly every time before you start. The pigment settles at the bottom, and paint that has not been stirred changes both its coverage and the resulting tone, which shows fastest with dark shades. It is thinned with water, or with the thinner of the same range if you need to set its behavior in the nozzle more precisely.
Besides this shade the range also includes a separate flat black, so the choice depends on the sheen the finished surface should have. Clean your tools while the paint is still wet, as dried acrylic is far harder to remove. Store the bottle tightly closed and away from frost, because contents that have frozen will not return to their original state.
