A purple with a red-violet core. For fantasy machines, accessories and color accents.
Responsibility details are not available.
Purple is not violet and it is not pink either. It lies between them, with a pronounced red core that glows in a saturated coat and turns into a cool cast in a thin one. In the military palette you will practically never meet it, yet it is at home where the color scheme is not tied to a real subject: robotic machines, gaming figures, accessories, helmets and everything meant to catch the eye at first glance.
Use in a small amount tends to be more interesting than full coverage. A drop of purple added to red takes its orange cast away and shifts it into depth, so the shadows on a red car body need not end with plain black. It works in the same way as a thin cast over metal surfaces.
The binder works with water. The tools are cleaned immediately once the work is done, while the coat has not yet set; dried residue already needs the separately sold cleaner of the same line. The paint has to be stirred properly before application.
The frame with the number of the shade is placed at the top, the name of the paint below it. To the left of the name stands the gloss level and to the right the recommended use. Tones tied to a particular kind of hardware usually add the country and the period, and with general colors this information is not given.
In the world of fantasy and science fiction, purple often carries the function of a badge, that is the color of an order, a clan or a faction. So that it does not disappear on a small figure, it is usually completed with a lighter edge on the tops of cloaks and fabrics and with a darker settling into the folds. A full flat area without those two steps looks unfinished even on a well cast figure.
