Gaahleri Aventus Midnight Tide & Rex Version is a collector's take on the Aventus line airbrush with 0.2 mm and 0.4 mm nozzles in the package. Technically it is the same airbrush as the other Aventus versions and differs in its design. A compressor and a hose are not included.
Responsibility details are not available.
An airbrush from the Aventus line of the manufacturer Gaahleri in the dark Midnight Tide finish. The Rex Version is a special edition created in cooperation with an artist working as Barbatos Rex: to the dark toned body it adds a spring housing in gold and a gold needle chuck nut. Those elements are a matter of design, not of technology; in function it is the same airbrush as the other versions of the Aventus line. Let us be honest: what you are getting here is the look and the collector value, not a different performance.
The Aventus is a double action airbrush with a cup on top (gravity feed); one trigger controls the air and the paint alike, and the body is CNC machined from aluminum. In the package there are complete sets for both sizes, 0.2 mm and 0.4 mm (nozzle, needle, air cap), two cups with a lid (roughly 3 and 6 ml), a quick coupling and spare O-rings.
An airbrush is not the whole outfit. Without a compressor and an air hose you will spray nothing at all with it, and neither of them is in the box. If you are starting from scratch, reckon with having to obtain a source of compressed air and a hose along with the airbrush.
An airbrush has to be cleaned immediately after use; dried paint in the nozzle and on the needle is the most common cause of trouble with spraying. The needle is the most sensitive component, and a bent tip means the end of precise work. With lacquer and solvent paints always ventilate and use a respirator.
A compressor, a hose and paints are not included in the package.
