A set of three oil paints in ten-milliliter bottles. Each bottle has a cap with a built-in brush, so the paint is applied straight from the bottle and no palette is needed. The set contains the shades Gun Metal, Steel and Silver, that is dark metal, steel and light metal. Together they cover the range from the blackened surface of weapons to a shiny worn area.

Work tips

Oil paint dries slowly, which is an advantage here, because an applied mark can still be blended or broken up for a long time. Apply only a minute amount and blend it out with a dry brush or a finger. Excess can be taken off with a cloth moistened in thinner for oils. Always work on a dry surface, ideally sealed with a clear coat, otherwise the oil soaks into porous paint. A metal effect looks best used sparingly, in places where the real thing really does wear.
