Responsibility details are not available.
A stencil with a motif of numerals in a digital form, that is the kind that segment displays and machine marking have. A number sprayed through a stencil has a crisp edge and straight strokes that are hard to find with a brush, and at the same time it looks different from a decal: the paint is part of the finish, so once weathered and dusted it blends with the surface instead of lying on it like a film.
Numerals suit the hulls and sides of machines, the doors of cabs, crates and containers in a scene, the marking of parking areas and small signs. They come into their own on science fiction and robotic builds, where machine lettering looks natural, but also on modern equipment and in dioramas where inventory or registration marking is to be seen. The pattern can be repeated, so any number can be put together from the individual numerals.
Lay the stencil on a dried finish, hold it down over its whole area and spray at low pressure, perpendicular from above and in thin coats. A thick coat runs under the edge of the cut-out and the edge of the numeral smears. Let the paint set between the individual numerals so that the motif does not smear when the sheet is moved. After work clean the stencil while the paint is fresh and store it flat. The size of the sheet and the recommended use are given by the manufacturer.
The stencil is supplied. Paints, the model and an airbrush are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
