Dual Exo Thinner is a thinner prepared by the manufacturer for the paints of the Dual Exo range. A thinner from the same range is usually the safest choice: it is matched to the binder of the paint in question, so that the mix does not curdle, the covering power does not change and the drying time the paint instructions assume is preserved. The bottle holds 60 ml.
The thinner is added to the paint before spraying so that the material passes through the nozzle and forms an even coat. The right ratio differs with the shade, the pressure in the gun and the diameter of the nozzle, which is why the manufacturer gives it with the paint itself. Mix a small amount first, try spraying it on a scrap of plastic and only then go to the model. The thinner is also useful for flushing the gun out right after work, while the paint in the cup has not yet dried.
Do not mix thinners from different ranges until you have checked on a small sample that the paint and the thinner in question hold together. Work in a well-ventilated space and close the bottle as soon as you have taken out the amount you need, so that the contents do not evaporate needlessly. Do not leave thinned paint standing for long, as the pigment settles in it and it has to be stirred again before further use.
