Pink fibers can do something plain grass cannot. Scattered among green tufts they look like tufts in bloom, so a meadow gains a color accent without tedious stippling with a brush. That is exactly why even modelers who otherwise pass fantasy materials by reach for them.
There are thirty-five pieces in the package and the fiber measures six millimeters. That is the height at which the color is distinct on a scene even from a distance, that is, in a photograph or in a display case, where the viewer does not come within arm's reach of the model.
In the first way the rule of restraint applies. A meadow in bloom still has more green than flowers, so a ratio of one colored piece to four green ones is a safe start. In the second way, by contrast, do not spare the color, but help yourself with more subdued shades in the background, so that the scene has depth and the pink does not flatten into a single plane.
One more practical thing. Light and rich shades look different under ordinary workshop lighting from the way they look under exhibition light, which tends to be colder. Before you finish the arrangement, look at the scene by a window in daylight as well. The difference in how the color sits with its surroundings can be a surprise.
