A set of replacement saw blades from the Fine Art brand. These are thin saw blades that clamp into the handle of a modeling hand saw. The manufacturer carries the complete saw with blades under a neighboring part number, whereas this package holds the blades alone, that is a consumable without a handle.
A thin blade cuts on the pull, not on the push. Guide it square and without levering, or it will bend or break, and mark the line of the cut out in advance. Start from the edge of the part and work inward so that the edge does not chip, and support a thin wall from underneath so the plastic does not flex. Then level the cut surface with a sanding sponge or a file. The blade is sharp along its whole length, so put it back in its wrapper after work and do not brush the plastic dust away with your palm.
For modelers who already have a modeling saw and are running out of blades, and for builds with a lot of cutting, where the teeth go blunt or a blade snaps. Anyone who does not have the saw needs the handle with blades first.
This is a replacement consumable, not a complete tool. The saw and the handle are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
