Exhaust nozzles of the R-15B-300 engines for the MiG-25P, PD and PU in 1:32 scale are a 3D printed replacement for the parts from the kit, from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
The set brings 3D printed exhaust nozzles of the R-15B-300 engines in 1:32 scale from Temp Models, and that in the form for the interceptor versions MiG-25P and PD and for the training version PU. It is not a model of an aircraft but a replacement for the parts from the kit. The manufacturer offers the nozzles separately according to the group of versions.
The MiG-25P is the interceptor version intended to pursue high-flying targets, the PD is its later upgrade and the PU is the two-seat training variant with a second cockpit in front. All of them are powered by engines of the R-15 series, that is single-shaft turbojets with an axial compressor and an afterburner. The rear of the aircraft with the pair of closely spaced nozzles is among the most striking things you will see on a model of the MiG-25.
The parts are printed from resin and are held only by thin supports. Cut them off with a sharp scalpel as close to the part as possible, sand the marks down with fine sandpaper and protect your airways while sanding. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Paint holds longer on a smooth print if you lay a thin coat of primer under it. Hold the small parts over a dish while cutting them off so that they do not get lost, and glue them on only after the surrounding area has been painted.
The set is an addition to building a model, not a model in its own right. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, and glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
