A resin set of launchers and pylons for a MiG-35 model in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the parts on which the armament under the wing hangs and from which it is launched. A plastic kit usually simplifies them; printing in resin manages the guide rails and the small locks as well. It is not an aircraft kit but an armament accessory for a finished model.
The MiG-35 is the latest step in the development of the line that began with the MiG-29, and against the original machine it carries a wider choice of armament. Lighter short-range rockets hang on rail launchers directly under the pylon, heavier missiles are thrown clear by an ejector launcher, so that the motor lights at a safe distance from the airframe. The real machine therefore has several different kinds of mounting under the wing.
Release the parts from the supports over a working surface and level the mating faces on abrasive paper on glass. Wash the resin in lukewarm soapy water before painting. Spray the pylons separately from the airframe and fit them only once they are painted, otherwise the masking becomes needlessly complicated. They are glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
