The set of sensors and antennas for the MiG-29K in 1:48 scale is a 3D-printed resin accessory from Temp Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of sensors and antennas for a model of the MiG-29K carrier fighter in 1:48 scale from the Russian brand Temp Models. These are the small protruding items on the airframe, which in plastic tend to be needlessly thick, because a thinner shape would not come out of the mold. Printing in resin manages fine sections. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for a finished model.
Besides the usual air data probes and communication antennas, the MiG-29K also carries equipment tied to operating over the sea and to the approach to a deck. Navigation over water, where there are no landmarks, and precise guidance onto a short landing area place different demands on a carrier machine than operating from land, and that shows in the make-up of the antennas on the airframe. On a model these are details a viewer notices only close up, but without which the surface looks smooth.
Work over a surface and with tweezers that have smooth jaws; the parts are very small. Cut the supports off with a new blade; never break them. Cut off the original plastic stubs from the kit and smooth the area. Fit them only once the varnishing and the weathering are finished. Apply the glue with a pin in the tiniest drop.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
